The Blackwood Archive – Limited to 10 pieces
1/12 Scale
No one seems to remember when the Blackwood Archive first appeared.
Some say it began as the private study of a collector who had an unusual habit. Instead of displaying his treasures openly, he kept them hidden behind glass and wood, catalogued quietly and arranged with obsessive care.
Old books with faded leather spines. Small artifacts whose purpose had long been forgotten. Strange figures carved in metal and stone. Over time the collection grew. Shelves were added. Cabinets expanded. Objects from distant places slowly found their way into the archive.
No official record explains how these pieces were gathered. What remains are the cabinets themselves. Silent structures filled with fragments of stories that were never fully written down. Each cabinet feels like a small window into a much larger collection.
The Blackwood Archive — TA-001
This cabinet represents one of those preserved fragments.
A small archive filled with objects that suggest history without explaining it completely. Books, statues, relics, and instruments arranged as if they belong to a much older collection.
Warm light glows from inside the shelves, revealing details that might otherwise remain hidden in shadow.
The intention behind the piece was to capture the feeling of discovering a forgotten cabinet in a quiet study. Something that feels like it has always been there, patiently waiting to be opened.
Craft & Process
Each cabinet begins as a series of sketches on paper before moving into digital sculpting using Cinema 4D and ZBrush.
From there the model is prepared for high-resolution resin printing, where every structural element is produced separately and carefully cleaned, sanded, and assembled.
The finishing stage happens entirely by hand in the studio. Wood tones are layered slowly to build depth and natural grain. The miniature artifacts and books are individually painted and placed inside the cabinet before the interior lighting is installed.
Every piece takes time to complete, and no two end up looking exactly the same.
Limited Collector Edition
Only 10 cabinets will be produced.
Each one will be assembled and finished individually in the studio. When the tenth cabinet finds its collector, this edition will be permanently closed.
The Blackwood Archive may continue to grow in the future, but this cabinet will never be produced again.
For those who acquire one, it becomes the first preserved fragment of the Blackwood Archive.
